I was obviously anxious about having a hip replacement at 48 but Dr Chana carefully explained the benefits and reassured me that now was definitely the right time to operate. I had my operation on the 1st of May, within 2 weeks I was down to 1 crutch and can honestly say apart from a very neat scar have more mobility than I have had in years. I walk 2 large dogs in excess of 3 miles every day and 2 weeks ago walked 36 holes on a golf course, 2 consecutive days (for those who are not familiar with golf, that was just over 25000 steps both days), it is just amazing. Dr Chana paid great care and attention before, during and after the operation, he even called me at home, at the weekend, after my discharge to ensure everything was good, I can't thank him enough and would most certainly recommend him to anyone who is struggling with their hips, my only regret is that I didn't discover him earlier.
