From my first appointment with Mr.Chana I found him to be very proffesional in all matters, from ensuring I fully understood all aspects of the proposed procedure including exactly what he was proposing to action, post and pre-op procedures and expected recovery time.At the same time he demonstrated a clear understanding of my concerns which he managed extremely well. The procedure and outcome has exceeded all my expectations and I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr.chana.

Mr Chana is a charming and caring Doctor. My Hip replacement last December went perfectly , and I am very pleased to say I can now walk well without any pain, the after care great too. If in the future I need another operation, I would prefer only Mr Chana to perform it. I had great faith in him , and always hasten to tell people this, also the fantastic care I received while I was in Ashford Hospital for my surgery. Best place ever. Thank you so much Mr Chana

I was referred to Dr Rishi Chana at the BMI Chiltern for a total Right Knee replacement. He was able to fully explain what was needed and gave me time to read the information pack with a follow up appointment for me to give decision on the treatment plan options offered. Once I had decided on the total knee replacement a date was made very quickly for the procedure. I was very anxious about the procedure and outcome, after spending a lifetime as a carpet fitter kneeling! However Mr Chana put me at ease on the day of the operation before and after. The service was first class at the BMI Chiltern and has made the recovery so much easier. The recovery recommendations and Physiotherapy support has been fault-less and I am back to full health walking pain free. I would full recommend the treatment. Thank you so much

Dr Chana took great care to explain every detail of my Scaf and Akin osteotomy operation. He explained in great detail that it was imperative to complete the antibiotic therapy, take the vitamins he suggested and follow his instruction for post op recovery. For two weeks I rested my foot completely and did not weight bear without the use of the Darco sandal. Although this was not the most comfortable shoe attire, it certainly played a part in my recovery. Taking all of his advice is vital to ensuring the wound heals effectively and without swelling or the risk of infection. I did this to the letter and as a result the wound healed very well. Mr Chana put me at ease before the operation and the follow up appointments were extremely professional, I would recommend his service as first class. If he were chef I would award him a michelin star. Thank you for being such a brilliant surgeon. The staff at the hospital were very kind considerate and knowledgable from the pre assessment staff through to the out patient and inpatient staff. Thank you to them too.

After twenty years plus of doing endurance sports and having had an accident I found myself in the position of not being able to stand or walk for more than five minutes. It was suggested that I needed an operation and after much consideration I went for it . Wow, some seven weeks on I am now feeling like a new person, have a spring in my step and more importantly now have a future in front of me with my children. Thank you ever so much. Michael
