*****5 Star Service I am a 48 year old women who 4 weeks ago had her 2nd hip replacement, I chose private healthcare this time after a terrible time with the NHS. Mr Westerman and his team were simply wonderful to me, before during and after the surgery, they listened, cared and communicated and I felt totally safe. One of the biggest issue for me was the pain management, the ice machine is a game changer with the pain, I was so much more comfortable this time. The hospital teams were attentive, caring and thorough with everything and I would recommend the Meriden in Coventry. At 4 weeks I am fully mobile, no crutches, no pain relief and life is getting back to where it should be - THANK YOU MR WESTERMAN xx

I can’t say enough good things! Mr Westerman looked after my Mum when she had her knee replacement. He has the most gentle but encouraging and positive way of explaining and supporting her. He took time with her to explain exactly what he would do, how she would likely feel and what the recovery would be like. In the hospital he checked on her frequently and was always upbeat. He spotted an additional potential issue with the bone and has taken steps to ensure Mum is supported with that. I can’t recommend Mr Westerman enough - I would happily have him care for anyone I knew.

I had a total knee replacement operation , which was carried out by Mr Westerman on the 19th of January 2023 at the Nuffield hospital in Leamington. My thanks go to Mr Westerman for the friendly, professional and assuring way he dealt with me throughout. I would recommend him to anyone contemplating this procedure if they are at all nervous about it. Also my thanks go to the anaesthetist and staff at the Nuffield who were caring and approachable. With the help and encouragement of Phil and Dev , the physiotherapists at Leamington and Rugby , I have exceeded all expectations of my recovery. I followed their exercise programme to the letter and didn’t find it too arduous. My family and friends are surprised and pleased at what i have been able to achieve with the help of Mr Westerman and his team.

I had a total right hip replacement on the 28 January 2023, Mr Westerman explained everything in detail and I felt totally comfortable with the procedure. I was only in the hospital for 2 nights and the day after my operation I managed to go up and down a flight of stairs, I didn't have external stitches, the wound was glued, now 2 weeks after I am walking on just one crutch and it's fantastic to be out of pain, I would highly recommend M Westerman to perform your surgery.

From diagnosis, explanation of the procedure, day of surgery and through recovery, Mr Westman was fully in control, leaving me in no doubt of a successful outcome. A few days after my full hip replacement the pre-operation pain and discomfort walking and sleeping disappeared. 3 weeks on I resumed gym exercising and long walks, wound fully healed and new hip working perfectly. I can’t thank Mr Westman enough for his incredible professionalism and duty of care and whole heartedly recommend him to anyone requiring successful hip replacement surgery.
