From day one I can’t fault him from having to have a very painful hip joint put right I thought it would never happen. He made me feel at ease as though it was going to be so painless and make it life changing. It was all he said it was.He was so right he is so knowledgeable and could answer all my questions in a flash. Can’t thank him enough only to say if I had the other one to be sorted it would only be Mr Westerman to sort me out I have and will always have full confidence in him. There is nothing that could make the experience any better thank you so much

8 weeks ago Mr Westerman carried out a total hip replacement, he stated before that my hip was a total mess and like a jigsaw with no ball and socket visible, he carried out the replacement and rebuild to a very high standard, before surgery I was at a stage where it was difficult and painful to move or walk, after surgery I have not had any pain at all, and following a review today I now don't need crutches to get around, l cannot thank Mr Westerman and his team enough as they have given me my life back and now move freely and without pain, I would definitely recommend Mr Westerman for any hip or knee surgery as the total process from my first visit to the one today was carried out very professionally and also informative throughout the surgery and rehabilitation.

I am a 70 year old woman who is now 8 weeks on from a total hip replacement performed by Mr Westerman. I was pain relief free after 4 weeks and now use 1 crutch outside of the home but am crutch free inside. I’m told I no longer need any crutches (Mr Westerman after 6 weeks). Mr Westerman and his team were totally professional and incredibly caring. All my anxieties were laid to rest and the whole process went exactly as described. Pain management and Physio post op were extremely good and I was surprised how much I could immediately do. Compared to before my operation I’m now pain free, more mobile and looking forward to recovering a good level of activity. As Mr Westerman says, it’s a year long process post op to get fully mobile. In short, you get out what you put in. He does a great job and so should you.

I decided to enquire about having a hip replacement after suffering from immense pain for several years. Luckily for me I was recommended to see Mr Westerman. From the first consultation to my post op meeting the whole process was faultless, and I always felt in safe hands. Mr Westerman, all his team, the nurses, physio’s and catering staff all went to great lengths to ensure that my experience was faultless and stress free. I would recommend to anyone who thinks they need a total hip replacement not to keep suffering in pain but to speak to Mr Westerman. Elizabeth Collins - op date 05-01-23.
