Mr Lindley was my surgeon in 2016, for a keyhole splenectomy. The pre-operative acre and meetings that we had with him were always perfect, not rushed, had plenty of time for questions, and even involved me (I was 14 at the time), which is something not all doctors do within children's healthcare. Sadly, my spleen was larger than expected and required open surgery. Mr Lindley dealt with this with compassion and had to converse with my parents to gain consent. This operation should have taken approx 1-2 hours. Due to the complications, it took 10 hours in the end. Mr Lindley deserves such recognition for still being professional and completing the surgery himself (rather than handing it over to another surgeon). (I'm sorry for keeping you so late that shift :/ ) He then visited multiple times post-surgery during my recovery at Sheffield Children's Hospital on the surgical ward. The entire experience from pre-operative to post-operative was excellent, and highly recommended!! His talent saved my life!

Mr lindley is a very kind and has a gentle manor. He is extremely approachable and listens to what I have to say as a mum. He always puts me at ease and answers any questions I may have. My daughter has always received the highest quality and level of care, advice and medical intervention . There have been times during hospital admissions when other doctors haven't had the same manor and expertise as Mr lindley and without him being there , our daughter would have had a different experience. Would recommend him 100 %.

Seen in clinic within a minute of arriving. Mr lindley was polite and professional and put me at ease about the procedure my child was due to undergo. He discussed benefits and risks and sought my opinion then carried out the procedure there and then when i was happy to go ahead. He was kind and reassuring and i couldnt fault the care we received

The care we have received from Mr Lindley and his medical team for our son as been 1st class. Information given pre operation and post operation as been excellent. Post operative care both in hospital and subsequent appointments have been also been excellent. Meetings we have had have never been rushed time as been given to explain processes and answer questions. At present we have no negative comments to make about the care our son has received. Thank you
