Both the procedures I had were carried out with great skill by Mr Freeman. I had very little pain after each procedure and I feel sure this was down to how well he performed the operation. His after care is also excellent and I feel it a privilege to have him as my surgeon.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Freeman. Mr Freeman has absolutely transformed both of my feet now. Having suffered with horrible bunions and being in pain for years it is such a relief to now have two amazing looking and pain-free feet. I had one operated on last year and have just had my other one done - I can't believe how quickly I recovered from the operations with minimal scarring. I am so grateful to Mr Freeman for all that he has done - my only regret is not having done it sooner!

Mr Freeman was incredibly professional throughout the whole process from the first appointment with him, my foot operation and achilles lengthening and then follow up reviews. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and was very clear and concise about what needed to be done to rectify it. He explained things clearly and put me at ease. I felt like I was his only patient!
The actual operation was a great success and the work was carried to a very high standard so much so I went back for the second foot operation with him!
I would highly recommend this Consultant and am delighted with the results of the operation.

I have never had a better medical experience that the one I experienced with Mr Freeman. He explained the procedure he would be doing to both me and my wife and answered all the questions we asked in a thoughtful and caring manner. We booked an appointment and all was just as described. I went in early, had the Op and was discharged later that day. I could not have asked for better or faster care. We had follow up appointments to check my condition and he explained everything that was happening in a thoughtful and caring manner.
I would HIGHLY recommend Mr Richard Freeman, as a great doctor and a caring man.

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-specialist training in both Foot & Ankle surgery and Major Trauma.
My elective practice includes all aspects for foot and ankle surgery including minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy and total ankle replacement. I have a particular interest in sports injuries and have fellowship experience of managing professional athletes.
I am the principle surgeon for foot an ankle trauma in Brighton and frequently manage referrals from across the South Coast including complex deformity and bone infection cases.
