I could not have wanted better care than the care I received from Mr Dave. He delivered the bad news with great sensitivity and compassion. He was clear in his explanation of the implications of the cancer and the treatment options, and answered all my questions directly and carefully. I trusted him almost immediately - and though he did not do the surgery in the end, the surgeon who did did a wonderfully neat job - as I am sure he would have done according to the nurses. And he also seemed genuinely pleased when it turned out not to be as bad as first feared.
