Mr Kakwani was fantastic from minute one. I was in pain, worried about having an operation & what the future would hold for me. I expressed all my concerns & worries & Mr Kakwani listened to me and answered everything. He even answered questions that I had not thought of. He explained everything about the operation, what would happen in the following weeks after the operation and how my longterm recovery would go. Mr Kakwani was also available to answer questions via email that I had too. I hope I don't need to meet Mr Kakwani again! But if I was unlucky enough to damage an ankle in some way, then it's him that I'm contacting. I can't thank him enough for his, and his teams help.
Mr Kakwani is a very sincere Doctor who genuinely listens and clearly explains options for care. He is sympathetic but very clear. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.
Mr Kakwani listened to me, reassured me and explained about my injury and surgery. He went out of his way to ensure I got the best treatment.
At our initial meeting I knew that I had chosen the right consultant. Mr Kakwani’s surgical experience was well documented but I was immediately impressed by his inter personal skills. He considered me as a patient, outlining the specific choices available and explaining everything clearly, concisely and in detail. He demonstrated empathy to my condition and I felt he was putting my own well being first. I have never felt so relaxed before or after an operation and the result of the surgery is astounding and makes a great difference to my mobility. He is the best!
Mr Kakwani listened carefully to my description of my foot problem then made his own examination. He explained, in language I understood, the probable cause of the issue and discussed ways of relieving symptoms. Mr Kakwani wrote to my GP with details of the consultation, sending me a copy too. He arranged for the agreed treatment option and explained that I was to return if there was no relief of symptoms within 6 weeks.
