Mr Rajesh Nair successfully performed a partial nephrectomy at Guy's Hospital om my kidney. The whole procedure went without any complications, out of hospital the next day and very happy with the recovery. I would recommend Mr Nair and his team without any hesitation. His approach and explanations gave me a big confidence. Brilliant team at NHS.

So imagine someone that’s never been to hospital , does not like the sight of blood and is terrified of needles , is informed he need an operation to remove one of his kidneys that has a tumor , just the thought of hospitalization and what will happen without any idea of the process that follow starts to feel at that moment . All along the way you are been told of the next step and what to do as you get closer to this nightmare you can’t wake up off , well for me , even with all the help from the doctors and specialists along the way from been told to finally getting the operation , the one thing that finally helped me to calm down and relax myself was a very simple thing that happened the moment I talked to Dr. Rajesh Nair , as we talked on the first consultation with him and he explained all the procedure with the many dangers that where present for this type of operation and the end result , was his voice , totally calm and you could feel from his conversation the confidence he had and that he transmitted , the way he presented to you the dangers but I was feeling totally reassured that he was just telling them me to inform me , but I felt his confidence and it really calmed me down as I knew it was just what he knows how to do best from experience , thank you.

Mr Nair is the most loveliest, personable and caring doctor I have ever met. But also highly knowledgeable and skilled and gives you every confidence in his ability. I underwent a complex endometriosis excision and full hysterectomy but had a complex urological past which made the procedure higher risk. Mr Khazali said he would only do the surgery with Mr Nair present and I can most definitely see why. From my first appointment he was kind and understanding of my complex medical history but never made me feel like it was a big deal or an issue. He called me at home shortly after my discharge to check I was ok and was thorough in my follow up appointment too. I’m already reaping the benefits of the surgery and sincerely hope I will continue to do so. But if I have any issues in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Mr Nair immediately and most certainly will be my go to Urologist from now on!
