Mr R Kotwal joined as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, in July 2016. Having completed his Specialist Orthopaedic training on the All Wales Higher Surgical Training Programme, he successfully completed a fellowship in Knee Surgery at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre. He specializes in Surgery of the Knee joint. He has a keen interest in improving patient outcomes following knee surgery, day case partial and total knee replacements, Enhanced recovery following Knee surgery, Sports knee surgery, Arthroscopic ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, surgery for Patello-femoral instability and repair of tendon injuries such as Hamstrings, Quadriceps and Patella tendon.
