I had been in severe pain with a trapped sciatica nerve for months. I could not put up with it any longer whilst waiting for an appointment from NHS and decided to go private. I saw Mr Popa who suggested an MRI scan. After the scan it was decided to do a L5 nerve root injection which was done the day after. The morning after the injection I was able to put my weight down on my left leg and walk, something I had been unable to do for months. This has given me some quality of my life back and cannot thank Mr Popa enough.

I was referred to Mr Popa by Warrington Health Services. I received excellent care and advice from Mr Popa regarding my medical condition. He explained the operation procedure that was required in a clear and factual manner which I fully understood answering all my questions honestly and giving me full confidence in him. Before Mr Popa operated on my spine I had great difficulty in walking. After the operation I am now able to walk again pain free, this experience has left me in awe of his surgical skills. I would like to thank Mr Popa, all of his team and nursing staff at Walton Centre Hospital for the wonderful care, kindness and dedication I received.
