I've only had one consultation with Mr Pathiraja, and it was the best experience with a doctor I have ever had. I was immediately put at ease, and made to feel comfortable, despite being quite nervous at the time. It really felt as though Mr Pathiraja was working with my best interests at the centre of care, and he went above and beyond to support me, taking into account my circumstances outside of healthcare. Everything was explained very clearly to me, both my symptoms and the procedure, and all my questions were answered. I could not recommend a doctor more.

I was referred to Mr Pathiraja via Miss B. Abdul due to long NHS waiting lists for a laparoscopic, total hysterectomy, BSO, removal of pelvic nodes and omental sampling, following a diagnosis of a grade 3 endometrial ca. During my NHS consultation Miss B Abdul communicated, “Mr Pathiraja will look after you”. He certainly did. The procedure was organised quickly, initially with a telephone consultation, as most of the info was passed over to him by his colleagues at Oxford. I found him very calming he explained everything in detail, answering all questions, and encouraged me to write down any further questions which he answered during the ward visits pre and post surgery. I found him extremely reassuring, efficient, caring and supportive. The operation went smoothly with no infections, wounds are healing well. I’m very grateful I would highly recommend him to family and friends. He was amazing. Helen Pepperday
