Reviews
Dr Buddhdev is fantastic- great bedside manner with both child and parent.
He made my son feel completely at ease with his fun nature and interaction.
Dr Buddhdev explained everything clearly, was to the point and up to date on the latest research. He is very supportive and reassuring. I feel my son is in the best hands with him and I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.
My daughter was referred to Mr Buddhdev shortly after birth, in 2019. Her case is rare and challenging but Pranai has always gone above and beyond to provide excellent care towards her, and us as a family. He has always taken the time to communicate every stage of her care clearly, and if we ever had concerns, he immediately made time to see us and provide answers, including discussing her case at meetings,
reaching out to colleagues and extensive research.
Earlier this year, he referred us to another hospital, he has remained in touch and updated with my daughter’s care.
I have no doubt that we will see him again in the future for expert advice and care.
Our 6-year-old son was diagnosed with having osteocondroma (a benign tumour) in his leg in April 2023. It was quite significant and was causing him to limp and impeding him from being able to do certain activities, such as riding a bike. He was seen quickly by Mr Pranai Buddhdev, Consultant Paediatric Orthpaedic Surgeon, at Broomfield Hospital. From start to finish, Mr Buddhdev and his team gave our son and us the best possible care. They explained clearly the condition and the treatment plan. They booked him in for his operation at the earliest available slot (August 2023) and saw him the week prior to familarise him with the hospital ward and what would happen on the day so that he (and we!) were less anxious. On the day of the operation, Mr Buddhdev came to see our son and promised him a cast in his favourite colour (Spiderman red!) We couldn't have felt more confident handing over our little boy for his procedure due to how knowledgeable and experienced Mr Buddhdev clearly is. After the operation, Mr Buddhdev came to see us to confirm all had gone well and to explain next steps. We then had several follow-up appointments with Mr Buddhdev to monitor our son's recovery.
If we had had private medical cover we could not have received better and more speedy treatment - a mere 4 months from diagnosis to surgergy and I am so happy to say that, because of the high level of care he received from Mr Buddhdev, our son has now made a full recovery and he been discharged. Our son is now able to carry out Spiderman-style moves as he is back being able to climb and jump with no limp. We are so grateful to Mr Buddhdev and his team and we couldn't recommend Mr Buddhdev more highly.
We took our 12year son to Mr Buddhev due to a concern with legs and his posture. Mr Buddhev was fantastic. He spoke nice and clearly with our son so that he felt very comfortable. Explained everything he could see and put our minds at rest. Also followed up with a letter stating everything he did and found. Great doctor.
My 12 year old daughter is currently under the care of Mr Buddhdev following a diagnosis of scoliosis in 2022. The care we have received has been fantastic. Mr Buddhdev and his team are warm and welcoming and always ready to listen. My daughter has ASD and some additional needs and struggles to communicate her feelings but Mr Buddhdev always puts her at ease and tries to make her laugh. Due to the nature of her condition, my daughter will continue to see Mr Buddhdev for some time to come and I'm pleased that we will be doing so knowing we are in good hands with a team we fully trust.
