Mr Chitsabesan is one of the best consultants out there. When it comes to healthcare, it is incredibly hard (especially for women) to feel heard and find doctors who speak to you as an intelligent human being rather than making you feel patronised and dismissed as has been the case most of the time in my experience. Mr Chitsabesan’s friendly, welcoming approach immediately puts you at ease. He discusses all concerns in detail and no question is too much trouble for him. I was incredibly fortunate to grab an appointment with him just before Christmas, and I can’t imagine the discomfort I would have been in over the festive period without his expertise and guidance. He examined me and the advice he gave was game-changing and will undoubtedly prevent me from needing some sort of corrective surgery in the future. I can’t recommend him highly enough and he will be the first doctor I go to should I ever need any more help in this area of my health.

I was made to feel welcome by Mr Chitsabesan who was pleasant and put me at ease from our first appointment through to surgery and post care. I was treated with respect and dignity throughout my consultation and surgery. I was listened to and given clear and simple advice, each next step was explained in clear uncertain terms and I felt reassured that I was being treated professionally. All appointments were on time and I was kept informed by phone and letter confirming my appointments. During examination and surgery I was comfortable and felt my needs were being met. During my procedure I was given first class care and given immediate results, that were confirmed in writing. I felt my wellbeing and ongoing health were put first, and I was given professional care by Mr Chitsabesan.

Life is much easer when the Doctor you are speaking to knows what you are talking about and is able to explain what needs doing without any fuss and if this is important to you this Consultant is the man for you. I feel very lucky to have had him looking after me with the problems I had - giving me my life back; Thank you Mr Chitsabesan .

Mr. Chitsabesan made me feel immediately at ease, listening intently to the history of my problem and asking many relevant and revealing questions. He then discussed his diagnosis in clear layman's terms, based on his earlier examinations, and his conclusions. This was the clearest illustration I have had of how my functional behaviour has contributed to my problems and how my future functions could be controlled. Since the consultations with Mr Chitsabesan, and the practical advice he gave, my colonic problem has been completely controlled, and I attribute this entirely to the assessment and relevant support that was given. His manner was professional and empathetic, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Chitsabesan as a trusted and expert consultant.

I would definitely recommend Mr Chitsabesan. He is friendly, approachable & puts you at ease. He is very professional & explains things very well. I never felt rushed & he was sympathetic towards my concerns. I had a colonoscopy, the care was excellent. I was talked to throughout the procedure & felt very relaxed & well looked after before, during & after.
