I have seen Mr Chitsabesan on a number of occasions for diverticulitis. He has always been caring and professional, never seems rushed or in a hurry to get rid of me and seems genuinely interested not only in my condition but also in my family, work etc. Although diverticulitis is not a lot of fun I always enjoy seeing him and always feel better for the experience. He is a thoroughly nice man

Mr Chitsabesan is a very experience surgeon who conducts complex abdominal wall repairs. I needed a much simpler inguinal hernia repair on one side. He spent 40 minutes answering all my questions and explaining the options and risks in the pre-assessment. He has all the experience to recommend the right type of hernia repair based on my situation, and to explain post-op precautions. The operation went well and I have just seen him again for my 6-week post-operative review. Again, he spent as much time as I needed to answer all my questions.

A great listener with excellent description of the nature of my condition; the different options for correcting the situation; and the encouragement to increase my chances of a successful procedure (weight loss). I initially contacted Mr Chitsabesan through my works Bupa scheme and I chose him also based on him having experience with a hospital I am under in the south of England. He has been more than helpful with my issues and has given me great recommendations on how to deal with bowel issues that I seem to have acquired after childbirth a few years ago. The recommendations given have greatly helped. I went to my initial consultation quite stressed and fed up and even by my second follow up appt I was 100% feeling much more positive. Would definitely recommend
