I had an accident and injured my foot approx 10 years ago. After 18months of pain and being x-rayed 4 times I was told they could not find a problem with my foot. I was referred to Mr Ray who immediately ordered an MRI and found a hairline fracture and a reverse joint fracture. I was told that I would eventually need surgery on my foot as arthritis had already begun in the joints and around the fracture.l was at the time in my early sixties and told MrRay that I wanted to delay the surgery as long as possible. He arranged for me to have injections into my foot at 6monthly intervals to help control the pain.During a check up I mentioned that I had pain in my right foot as well investigations showed that I had severe arthritis I that foot also. With Mr Ray's care and understanding I managed to avoid surgery until this year . I am so happy that the surgery has been completely successful and have no qualms in having surgery on my right foot next year. This is all due to the excellent care I have received from Mr Ray and his team. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing orthopaedic care .

The most charming, friendly, caring doctor who actually knows his 'stuff' - would highly recommend anyone with problems to go and see him.
