I found Mr D'Urso very friendly, he put me at ease straight away. He explained my problems and what choices I had. He answered my questions clearly and concisely. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him.

I was treated with respect and listened to, Mr D'Urso listened to my symptoms and treated me as necessary. I am delighted with my improvements and whilst I'm not completely 'fixed' I'm significantly better. Mr D'Urso Secretary Clare, has been very helpful when I had questions and was very professional. Thank you both for my very positive experience.

Great Guy, explaining everything very comprehensively. Pleasure to speak to, and deal with.

Mr D'Urso showed a great deal of empathy and understanding, explaining everything carefully and answering all questions posed. He provided a great deal of reassurance and a clear plan of treatment.

I have had chronic back problems for much of my adult life having also undergone a previous L5/S1 discectomy. I consulted Mr D'Urso at his private rooms at the HCA hospital in Wilmslow as my condition had progressed with a recurrence of my previous foot drop. Mr D'Urso immediately put me at rest with his kind relaxing manner and gave me the opportunity to detail my chronology. He was attentive throughout. Having analysed the symptoms he asked me a few more targeted questions before carrying out a thorough neurological examination including studying my gait in detail. He arranged for me to have an urgent MRI the next day and then rang me with the results. He also managed to review my old MRI images. It turns out I have a new L4/5 problem and he has arranged some more testing (EMGs). As a doctor myself I recognised the qualities in Mr D'Urso that make him a fantastic surgeon. Above all he is caring, empathetic, efficient, polite and gives you time to explain your concerns. I am thoroughly satisfied with my consultation and management plan and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. Incidentally, the HCA venue is also fantastic!
