I first met Mr Turton when I was diagnosed with Breast cancer at St James' in November 2021. I was told that due to where the cancer was I would need a mastectomy and Mr Turton advised he would do an immediate reconstruction with a silicone implant. I was extremely happy with my reconstruction, I was dreading looking in the mirror after surgery but so happy with the results. Two years later, I've just undergone symmetry surgery on my other side as the mastectomy had left me lopsided. Second time round I had this operation at Spire Hospital in Leeds. I debated whether to go ahead with this surgery as I felt quite emotional about further surgery however Mr Turton gave me assurance surgery would be ok and I'm so pleased he did. I am so so happy with the results and it's made a massive difference to my confidence. I am only 38 and losing my breast was so scary but this surgery has made me feel like me again and I'm so grateful to Mr Turton and his surgical team for turning what was a very traumatic experience into something positive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Turton, he will act in the best interest for you as his patient and has such a calming and reassuring manner. You will be in the best possible hands.

I had Mr Turton for my gynaecomastia surgery and couldn’t have asked for a better service. He was straight to the point and provided me with all the information I needed / wanted. The results are everything I hoped for and better, minimal scarring that is clearing up very quickly and the shape is already what I have wanted it to be for a very long time, 12ish weeks post surgery. One final thing is that he was always very relaxed and clearly confident in his abilities, which are 2 attributes that I think every surgeon should have.

From the moment I met Dr Turton I knew he was not only the best surgeon but also the kindest and most professional man. My surgery went extremely well and the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. All the staff at the Spire were amazing, especially Gerry who was at all my appointments and just a call away for any advice I needed. The reduction surgery has been life changing in so many ways. I highly recommend Dr Turton and can not thank him enough for not only the excellent surgery but for the support, reassurance and care along the way.

I had a consultation with Mr Turton in Summer '23 for mastopexy surgery, having been deeply unhappy with my breasts since I was in my late teens. From the moment I met him I knew I had found the right surgeon. His experience is vast and his reviews excellent and in person he is warm, compassionate and caring. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I had surgery in September '23 and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. The whole team at Nuffield in Leeds were first-class and Mr Turton's nurse Gerry provided the best aftercare, personally handling all my follow up appointments. Three months later and I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. I am delighted with the results of my operation which has far exceeded my hopes and expectations. My body actually feels like mine again. I feel free. I cannot thank Mr Turton and his team enough. It really has been life changing for me.

I cannot recommend Mr Turton enough! After years of struggling with all the problems that heavy J cup breasts present, the breast reduction he performed was simply incredible. My breasts are now everything I've ever dreamed of. My neck/shoulder/back pain has disappeared, I fit in 'normal' clothes and my confidence is back. Mr Turton made me feel at ease from the very first consultation, and it was clear he understood & sympathised with everything we discussed. I knew I was in the safest hands right away. Also, the aftercare was fantastic which has made recovery a breeze. Thank you, Mr Turton. You have changed my life!
