Mr Petr Holy

Today I had a cystoscopy- I was dreading it. I was nervous and found myself in the room with Mr Petr Holy and a male nurse. They could not have been better, in my opinion. Mr Petr Holy was kind and calm and patient, and asked me the right questions- like ‘what are you afraid of? The procedure or the result?’ When I said ‘ both’ he remained warm and calm and kind at the same time as being factual and treating me very professionally. He was sensitive to the fact that I was scared, without treating it as though it was a problem- He maintained a calmness that was comforting, and there was an element of humour in the room too, which I found very comforting. He must meet a lot of anxious people- and he dealt with it with grace, and performed the procedure sensitively, quickly, efficiently.
