I have just finished surgery/treatment for breast cancer and was fortunate enough to have Mr Kneeshaw as my consultant - he is one of the most compassionate and kind people I have ever met.

I've been a patient of Mr Kneeshaw's as a transgendered male undergoing a bilateral mastectomy and chest reconstruction. Since my initial consultation he has been patient, kind, and professional, showing a great ability to emphasise and put patients at ease. He provided and talked me through all available options, taking the time to show me previous cases as similar to my own as possible, and was honest about what results to expect. His friendly personality went a long way in making me feel less apprehensive and scared when the time for my surgery came around, and I am very pleased with the results of his work on my chest. He was very understanding of the specific needs of transgendered patients with regards to surgical treatment, and not once was I made to feel uncomfortable - he is concerned with giving the best result to his patient, whatever their reason for surgery. Great guy, great surgeon.

I recently had a breast reduction carried out by Dr Kneeshaw, and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. I am only 21 so the thought of having it done was very scary and daunting to me but Dr Kneeshaw made me feel at ease from the very first visit. He showed me work that he had previously carried out and that put my mind at ease. It has now been a month and the after care I have received has been amazing and the results are incredible even after only a month. my scars are barely visible and they look amazing. I am one very happy customer :)

A couple of years ago my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, we then found out it was genetic. I was tested and found out that I had the BRCA gene also. I was 19 at the time and decided I wanted to have surgery to reduce my risk (a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy). All the options available to me were discussed and I understood but still wanted to go ahead with surgery. Mr Kneeshaw has been the surgeon for both my mum and me and I could not recommend him more highly. I can go into the clinic feeling nervous and a little sad and after seeing Mr Kneeshaw I come out with a smile on my face. I was 19 when I underwent my first operation and I was initially very nervous, but there is something calming about Mr Kneeshaw and I found myself going into my operation feeling very positive and relaxed. I trust him absolutely and have great confidence in his skill. I could not have wished for a better surgeon. I really can't describe quite how brilliant he has been in helping my family through this. Mr Kneeshaw is a fantastic surgeon and a lovely man. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for my mother and me.
