Mr Kneeshaw was very knowledgeable about his area and made me feel I could trust his judgement on my treatment plan. He was quite blunt and matter-of-fact when he gave me my diagnosis, which I found quite alarming, but I think that this was just his style - straight to the point.

I have seen a number of doctors, surgeons, nurses and psychiatrists in my time, but even the ones whom I have met with many times and have gotten to know very well haven't even come close to the level of care that Mr Kneeshaw has provided me with. For five years, I was incredibly self-conscious about a part of my physical appearance that I couldn't change without surgery. It caused immense anxiety on an ongoing basis and it was leaving me incredibly ill as a result. I was referred to Mr Kneeshaw to have the issue addressed and although I had read many reviews of his work before my appointment, I was still relatively wary due to the sensitivity of my concerns and the fact that I was having to travel such a distance for my consultation. Never in my life have I been so pleasantly surprised by an experience. Not only did he give off immediate warm and compassionate vibes, but this was followed right the way through the consultation. He was highly sensitive towards my needs, always making sure to be gentle, listen very carefully to all of my concerns, and checking that everything was alright before doing it. He mapped out my surgery for me right away and gave me an idea of the outcome, and even managed to keep up with my mother's insistent questions from the sidelines. His level of understanding surpasses that of mere professionalism and is much more like the understanding between two individuals who are striving for a mutual outcome. When it actually came to the day of my surgery, he did what he could to reassure me, went through every single step and introduced me to his surgeon team so that I knew who would be taking care of me. My mother also informed me that he visited shortly after I was taken back to my room post-surgery to check that everything was running smoothly, although I was too heavily influenced by the anaesthetic still by that point to remember this. The following morning, he even returned to my bedside to ensure that I was okay and recovering, which I really appreciated. More recently, we had a check-up to make sure that my scars are healing well. As expected, I'll need a bit of corrective surgery around the ends of the scars, but Mr Kneeshaw informed me that he was happy to sort that out within the next few months so that it looks like something that would make me proud and confident. I can't even think of a single fault that was made along the way, and I really appreciate everything he has done to help me. It's impossible to put into words how much he cares for his patients and goes that extra mile to make sure that everything is how his patients envision their outcome.

I had too surgery last week. Mr Kneeshaw performed it. He was great because he inspired confidence, he was approachable, friendly and, unsurprisingly, very competent. I am delighted with the result and if any trans guys out there are wondering who to pick, then wonder no more. Mr Kneeshaw is the man!

Mr Kneeshaw to me is the kindest, most compassionate of men. Anyone in his care is truly blessed. Many surgeons are skilled, for that is their chosen path in life.Very few possess the touching qualities of humility, approachability and genuine goodness. If he is your consultant, be very thankful.I am.Still alive after 5 years, not all due to Mr Kneeshaw to be fair, others have saved my life. However, he is a golden nugget .

I have had 5 operations in 6 months by Mr Kneeshaw due to Pagetts disease, cancer cells in my right breast. He did a biopsy, removed my milk ducts and nipple area (where I was having problems), did another operation as there were still cancer cells in 2 areas, he removed my nodes under my arm, then I had a mastectomy using my stomach to rebuild my breast in an 8 hour operation. It was a very difficult 6 months for me and Mr Kneeshaw and his team were excellent. The consultations and surgery were 1st class. The last operation had a 4 month recovery period and after only 6 weeks I was able to return to work, as I am an accountant sat at a desk all day. My operation was 9 weeks ago now and although I look like a jigsaw puzzle, I can not believe how well I have healed already! As all my cancer cells have gone I have had a lucky escape from the dreaded CANCER! What would we do without people like these to save our lives?
