Mr Gallacher performed an arthroscopy procedure on my left knee in 2018 and this enabled me to continue walking in the hills and mountains I love so much. I damaged my right knee in 2022 and returned to see Mr Gallacher in 2024. He is kind, considerate, listens and above all, does not judge anyone. He completely understands why I am still hill walking in my 70's and has done all he can to help me keep on getting out there. Every aspect of the operation is explained, including any possible risks. My husband and I trust him implicitly.

Met with Peter with regards to an old knee injury on the Ski slopes many years back. I only went for a consultancy discussion on my left knee where the knee was producing some pain. Mr Gallacher immediately recognized the previous surgery and my large range of movement following which due to wear over time and the next stage being a knee replacement, he realized that I would be worse off regarding range of movement and suggested Physio to build up muscled again which had deteriorated somewhat following my recent ankle replacement and hence period of inactivity. I a reasonably brief session I was completely diagnosed with no need for further followups apart from ongoing physio and specific training. He then followed with a detailed letter with full explanation and leaving me in no doubt as to where my life went from here on
