Paul was recommended to me and I am very happy I followed up on this recommendation. From the initial consultation through to the post-op appointment - the process was straightforward, stress free and surprisingly quick! Even the surgery - the part I had been dreading - was pain free, and over before I knew it. Paul was both professional and reassuring throughout.
Most importantly the recovery has been minimal and the results have exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

I was concerned about the necessary cataract surgery on my right eye as I suffered a severe retinal detachment some years ago to the left eye. The procedure did not worry me, just the potential outcome, as only having one functioning eye. Mr. Ursell explained the position and reassured me that the right eye was healthy and the procedure would correct my sight in that eye. The procedure was carried out within the week and was a complete success. My sight was perfect in that eye within 24 hours and is now classed at 20/20 vision. A large part of undergoing the procedure was the confidence in Mr. Ursell, and the knowledge of his experience and skill in Ophthalmology, as I had seen him some years earlier as a NHS patient

Mr Ursell recently performed cataract surgery on my 90 year old mother. She was terrified about the surgery but Mr Ursell made the whole experience easy. He is friendly and professional and never patronising. Despite complications in her condition both surgeries went smoothly and she is thrilled to be able to see properly again.
