I saw Mr Hamilton after rupturing my achilles playing 5 a side football. He set out my options of operative or non-operative and clearly explained his margin for when he would advise going for one or other, and also the pros and potential cons of each approach.
I decided on non-operative and have had a number of follow-up appointments since.
Each time I have seen Mr Hamilton I have found him personable, knowledgeable and practical. A very nice guy that I would definitely recommend.
After living with painful arthritis in the big toe that had over time reduced my fitness for sports I sought to get expert advice from Mr. Hamilton, a specialist consultant.
He took the time to carefully explain the condition with the x-ray result which also revealed a bone spur. I was informed with keyhole surgery it could be filed down and I should find an improvement in mobility quite quickly.
I am very grateful for Mr. Hamilton's dedication. The surgery on the bone spur was successful and post-op recovery was quick. I felt no need to take any of the prescribed pain relief which me feel very positive about my return to good health.

From my first visit, Mr. Hamilton conducted a thorough assessment of my condition and went above and beyond to ensure a complete evaluation on the same day, including an ultrasound and blood tests. He took the time to calmly explain my treatment options, shared his professional opinion without exerting any pressure, and allowed me several days to consider my decision.
I decided to proceed with surgery, and Mr. Hamilton, along with his assistant Philippa, worked diligently to ensure that the procedure was performed within 14 days of my injury. I am deeply grateful for their efforts and dedication. The surgery was a tremendous success, and since then, Mr. Hamilton has closely monitored my recovery, ultimately referring me to physiotherapy for further rehabilitation.
I cannot thank Mr. Hamilton enough for his exceptional care, expertise, and support throughout my treatment. Thanks to him, I am back on my feet and steadily progressing toward returning to sports. Throughout the process, I always felt welcomed and had complete trust in his care.
