Mr Lusty was a very empathetic consultant.
He listened to me, gave his opinion. He explained in great detail how the operation was to proceed.
He told me of the exercises to achieve for the best possible results.
At my last consultation taught me how to walk properly so that my hip would continue to work to it’s maximum capacity.
I would highly recommend this very conscientious doctor who has his patients best interests at the forefront of his consultation and work.

I had a hip replacement and the end of September. Mr Lusty's reviews universally reflect the professional and interpersonal skills he demonstrate and my experience accords with all of these. He brings clarity and simplicity to explaining complicated, procedures, encourages questions and gives time to listening. From my first meeting to the last the genuineness of his patient centred approach was a reassuring experience. Mr Lusty's skills and personal qualities are truly outstanding and I highly recommend him.

Mr Lusty carried out a hip replacement on me in Spring and within 4 months I was back to 100% fitness feeling as if I had never had a problem.
I can only say that the man is a magician in his field as well as caring and considerate in his approach and I have no hesitation in recommending him - thank you Mr Lusty

I have just had a knee replacement by the fantastic Mr lusty. He told me it would be very painful and he wasn't lying as it was. I am now in week 7 post op and am really starting to feel the benefit. Good tip for physio is an exercise bike it helped me so much. Mr. Lusty is kind considerate a brilliant surgeon and I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you so much Mr. Lusty for giving me my leg back xx

Thank you very much for leaving your review. I am sorry you had pain after your knee surgery. We try to make it as pain free as possible but knee replacement is often painful. It is vital to work hard to get a good range of movement after surgery especially getting your leg completely straight. The pain should get better. I have been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon since 2007. I completed international fellowships specialising in joint replacement and sports medicine surgery. I am an expert in hip and knee surgery.
I specialise in hip and knee surgery. I perform minimally invasive joint replacement surgery, revision (redo) joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee. I also practice soft tissue knee surgery such as arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), and arthroscopic anterior cruciate reconstruction surgery, and meniscal (cartilage) repair and resection.
I have been running a busy consultant practice for over ten years. I have performed more than 2000 primary joint replacements (hips and knees) and more than 200 revision joint replacements (redo hips and knees) on the national joint registry. My outcomes outperform the expected in terms of revision rates on the national joint register and patient function from Amplitude outcome data (from data of over 1000 patients at Spire Wellesley) I perform many knee arthroscopic procedures including anterior cruciate reconstructions.
