I had a total right hip replacement with Mr Lusty 6 weeks ago on the 3rd April and it has had an almost miraculous effect on my life! Before the operation I couldn’t walk without great pain and I couldn’t sleep-and being a primary school teacher both these factors were interfering with my ability to do my job! From my first consultation with Mr Lusty he was honest, kind and professional. He also has a sense of humour which I greatly appreciated! I had a spinal anaesthetic and my recovery afterwards was better and quicker than I could ever have imagined- I spent 1 night in hospital and was walking with 1 stick when I went home. Mr Lusty takes great care of his patients and I would recommend him to anyone considering hip replacement surgery- every aspect of my operation from the initial consultation, the nursing care and the follow up physio was fab!
