Dr Parag Jaiswal is a talented and gifted surgeon. Even though I am not a mediocre in English, words cannot begin to express my unadulterated gratitude to this unprecedented and absolutely incredible doctor. Prior to meeting with him, I had often contemplated the painful life I had been subjected to living, given my health situation. Inwardly, I felt luck was certainly not on my side; the interminable anxiety, the thought that something could horribly and irretrievably go wrong while being operated upon. In fact, it seemed to me a cruel act of fate that I should be made the victim of that sort of malady but contrary to my apprehension, Dr Jaiswal enjoined me to repose infinite confidence in our combined ability to go through this together successfully and insisted that fate had no justifiable reason to treat me to such undeserved sadism. Even after I had dismissed all cares and resigned myself to fate, he made it incumbent upon himself to ensure I saw everything from a rather positive point of view and what I craved at that moment were reassurances and the restoration of lost confidence. Knowing the value of appreciation, Dr. Jaiswal made me feel confident by the sheer power of his gallantry and consideration. Dr. Dewey, one of America’s most profound philosophers said that ‘the deepest urge in human nature is the desire to be important’. And Dr. Jaiswal made me feel important and restored my confidence and happiness Simultaneously. The efficacy of his professionalism can not be overstressed and recognition should be given where it is due. In my own candid opinion, 'a hospital is worth nothing if it has no names like Dr Jaiswal, on whom it’s very credit hangs'. The right and expediency to have a mentally and physically healthy life are always the determining factors in Dr. Jaiswal's decisions. He considers the potential consequences of every professional action to ensure it’s not devoid of dignity and decorum before embarking on it. Just as he assured me, the surgery was a sheer success as I was discharged the following day and he has been so delighted for me. After the surgery, he came to my bedside to assure and reassure me that all would be well. I had a follow up appointment lately and he made sure it was possible in a day and I didn’t even spend more than an hour there. I owe him a debt of gratitude because even in my wildest dreams I would not have dreamt to be so healthy and physically fit in so short a time after the surgery.
