Mr Stewart is a wonderful eye specialist kind caring gentle professional very thorough knowledgeable informative and reassuring so glad I found him he cared for me over quite a long period and found issues no other had found thinking outside of the normal box for reasons then putting me on the right path to help manage conditions, he also performed eye surgery which he was amazing with a very anxious me taking small gentle steps to make sure I was ok from start to finish resulting in a perfect result that I can now live without worry, he was also at hand with any worries or concerns to help when I needed it, he is also very warm and welcoming and really listens to your concerns, very highly recommended many many thanks, mrs casey-wright

Mr Owen Stewart is very caring and listen to what I have to say. He had a really good look at my eyes and I found that I had plenty of time to see him. I didn't feel like I had to rush. I am very pleased with the results and the aftercare.

At the first consultation I found him very helpful and he listened whilst I explained my problem which I had going back 20 years. A different consultant had put the wrong lens in my left eye so I was very concerned about having my right eye operated on, but Mr Stewart explained everything to me and also how to get over the left eye if needed. I found him very reassuring and he gave me the confidence to go ahead with having the cataract in my right eye done. After the operation everything went smoothly and now after 20 years I have got my vision back, and feel a lot more confident when going out.

My mother was lucky enough to come under the care of Mr Stewart in January 2018 and over the past 5 months has undergone 2 operations; a laser and a cataract. He, personally has shown a huge amount understanding, care and compassion towards my mother's situation and done everything possible to alleviate any fears and concerns she has and has had. Every question has been answered openly and honestly and all possible treatments and surgical procedures discussed in depth. His approach further endorsed the vast amount of confidence she already had in him and put her at ease for the operations. Mr Stewart is a highly skilled and incredibly gifted surgeon whose talent can only be described as world-class. We are extremely lucky that he has chosen to work here in Hull. Thank you Mr Stewart on behalf of my mother, I don't know what we would have done without you.
