Our daughter was born with TGA in 2018. After been rushed to LGI, and cared for brilliantly and kept alive in ward 51, Mr Jaber prepared us for heart surgery, allowing time to ask questions and giving us honest and clear answers. On Christmas Eve, our daughter went into surgery with Mr Jaber, who was amazing. She spen Christmas Day on PICU and back on HD on Boxing Day. She came home 5 days after surgery and is an active 4yr old, just climbing her first mountain. Mr Jaber is amazing and has been Pre, during and post surgery. Even checking her stitches, weeks after surgery in the canteen on his lunch break

Mr Osama Jaber - ,,Hands of God"... Mr Jaber is such a great surgeon. My wife gave birth to our son with TGA, we were so afraid when we found out. We didn't know about this condition until he was born. When we got to finally meet mr Jaber, I can say that he is a amazing doctor, he listen to our questions, he listen to our concerns and answer to all of them professionally. We were afraid of my son's operation but Mr Jaber reassure us all the time. We had all our faith in him and he did a very successfull operation in the end. The hearth operation went all good and now, because people like Mr Jaber exist, our son is well and growing, playing and making our life colourfull. We can't thank him enough for what he did for our son. We trully recomend mr Jaber from our hearts...Thank you mr Jaber ! God bless you !

I have only good things to say about Mr Jaber. He is the man that saved my daughters life. Scarlett (3) was rushed from Hull to Leeds and arrested on arrival, although it was not established at the time a virus had attacked her heart and she was a very very poorly little girl. He didn't even have the time to take her to thearte she was operated on and put on life support on ward 47. In the following days it was deemed she would require a transplant she was transferred to Newcastle 48hrs later in an drug induced coma. Due to the transfer further north I never got the chance to properly thank him and his team and with Scarlet being so poorly my mind was understandably elsewhere. Fast forward 12 months and my Son Freddie arrived into this world with a congenital heart condition called Tretalogy of Fallot and our paths cross again. (to put any readers minds at rest the care in Newcastle was equally as fantastic and Scarlett made a miraculous recovery and after 3 months on a VAD was able to be removed from the machine and left Newcastle on her own heart) Mr Jaber is my sons surgeon and we had a meeting with him last week to discuss his ongoing treatment, firstly it was quite a choking moment because I have everything to thank this guy for and yet he is so humble. Secondly he explained everything to me and my partner in good detail and explained the pros and cons and why he has decided he thinks its best to put off Freddie' surgery for 4-6 weeks. I know its unfortunate circumstance in which me meet again but I really do have every faith in him and his team.
