Mr Dessouky is most courteous, patient and considerate. He takes the time to fully explain the situation, the surgery, the challenges and what to expect, from beginning to end. He performed Endoscopic Sinus Surgery on me (due to Polypectomy and Septoplasty), and I am extremely happy with the result. I breathe easily, effortlessly and comfortably. Zero irritations and complications post surgery. He even met with me after the surgery, before I left the hospital, which I highly appreciated and considered to be a fantastic touch. I highly recommend him to any patient without a shred of doubt.

I had an accident in my yoga class and as a result I broke my nose. Breathing was very difficult because of the deviated septum. My GP referred me to a consultant in Croydon University Hospital. It was so reassuring when I met Mr Dessouky for the first time. He put me at ease with his manner and expertise, which gave me the confidence to agree to proceed with the corrective surgery. March 2019 I had an open septo rhinoplasty (revision) with PDS foil reconstruction. Subsequently almost a year later my nose is looking so much better than it was before, and now after the surgery I can breath at night without waking up at every hour with a terrible dry mouth. I am grateful to Mr Dessouky for his expertise and hope that he will continue to help many others.

After years of sporadic and infuriatingly ineffective ENT appointments at Queen Mary’s and St George’s hospitals, I was fortunate to meet Mr Dessouky at the latter and transfer my consultations when he moved to Croydon Hospital. Within the time it took St George’s to sort a follow up appointment for me (6 months when I was promised to be seen again in 2) I had had an operation within a week of my appointment and have had a follow up. Mr Dessouky is a fantastic consultant, and has taken me seriously when others have repeatedly fobbed me off. This was my second polypectomy and first bilateral revision endoscopic surgery, and I feel like a new person, being able to breathe through both nostrils for the first time in almost 3 years. I feel totally safe in Mr Dessouky’s hands, he is a credit to his profession. Thank you so much for helping me to breathe again.

What a pleasure and a relief to meet Mr Dessouky after months of being given various treatments that didn't work and additional misdiagnosis: my symptoms of pain and deafness in both ears had been treated directly with various sprays and drops without success and my day and (particularly) night time temperature flushes were put down to menopause. I had literally suffered for months without being able to properly follow group conversations due to the deafness and I had not enjoyed more than a couple of hours sleep at a time. My treatment from Mr Dessouky was ear suction followed two drops in both ears three times for about a week - and "voila" no more pain, I can hear again and the temperature flushes have completely disappeared. Ladies out there "of a certain age" please take note and don't let yourselves be fobbed off with the menopause excuse when there could be another explanation. I needlessly suffered for months because of believing what I was told. I am writing this in the hope that someone out there reads this and questions their diagnosis and seeks expert advice sooner, so that they don't have to suffer like I did.

He was a through gentleman. He received me cordially. Explained every thing in a simple and understandable language . He explained me what he would do under GA.what will happen after operation, it’s duration of operative time, post operative recovery period and it’s probable / possible complications and it’s remedies. What he would do on my next follow up visit.
