Mr Aweid was very informative of what the procedure was going to be along with possible risks. He explained what he was going to do and the benefits for my life going forward. The post- op care afterwards was first care with Mr Aweid checking on several occasions on the ward. I would fully recommend Mr Aweid as a 1st class consultant.

I am most grateful for the excellent care and expert surgical skills that Mr Aweid provided throughout my pre-op interviews, on the day of the operation, and subsequent post-op reviews. I can't praise Mr Aweid enough as a most caring physician. At our initial pre-op interview, Mr Aweid gave me full information of the potential risks and possible downsides of my total left knee replacement operation, whilst patiently giving me time to digest and engage in further dialogue to ensure I have full understanding of what the operation entailed. Mr Aweid was also very attentive and reassuring on the evening of my operation, as well as the afterwards before discharge from the hospital and the subsequent review. I am incredibly lucky to have been under the care of Mr Aweid. I am now six weeks into my post-op recovery and can report that my 'new' knee feels just 'normal' but of course much much better than before. In fact, my recovery even in the first week back at home has been extremely fast. Yes, painful when undertaking the exercises recommended by the physio at the hospital, but I managed to totally take care of myself in my daily routines (showering, getting dressed, etc.) with my caring wife looking on. Two of my brothers were medical consultant (retired) and two of my nephew/niece (and their partners) are medical consultant in London. They have all been concerned regarding my operation, but they are all in the same view that I have been very lucky to have been operated on by a surgeon with excellent skills to enable my rapid and amazing recovery to better than 'normal' life! I am forever grateful to Mr Aweid for his care and superb surgical skills. He is a treasure and I am a living example of his excellent work. Thank you Mr Aweid, God bless.

I felt it imperative that feedback be sent on the exceptional care give by Mr Aweid, his surgical team, the nursing care from the orthopaedic ward and physiotherapy department. From pre to post surgery I found Mr Aweid extremely approachable and professional, he spent quality time discussing positive and negative surgery options with me, giving me a voice and life choices. During my surgery and after Mr Aweid made sure that I was comfortable with decisions made on my behalf. My surgery was very successful due to Mr Aweid’s skill as a surgeon. Mr Aweid operated on my right knee at Wrexham Maelor Hospital on April 19, 2022. I had been in agony for over 3 years and could hardly walk. Recovery was painful after the procedure but the pain has now completely gone. It is a marvelous feeling to be able to walk without pain. I would certainly recommend Mr Aweid to anybody who is suffering from knee problems. Thank you Mr Aweid

From my first consultation in regards to my arthritis in my knee to my knee operation Mr. Aweid fully discussed with me and also listened to me about my problem and concerns. When I went in for my operation Mr. Aweid came to me on the ward and told me about the procedure we had a full conversation as what would happen. When the operation was over he came to me in recovery and told me how it went and that it was a successful operation. Following my discharge from hospital I had to have physio for the next 12 weeks until I saw him again in clinic where he was very pleased with my progress and was happy everything was okay. Following our discussion in the clinic I have now booked in to have my other knee done towards the end of the year and I have no concerns in regards to this and would recommend Mr. Aweid to any one who is thinking about this kind of surgery.
