Mr Aweid- was totally honest with me. He never promised me anything but gave me the trust and confidence at 82 years old to have a total knee replacement- for which I thank him. I am now in to the tenth week of recovery and so pleased I with the result. Thank you again.

Words can’t describe how amazing Dr Aweid was. Took amazing care of me before and after my knee operation. Spent time with me going over the options and what the realistic likelihood of success and healing time from them would be. Glad I went with his advice. I was seen at the London Independent Hospital BMI.

I was suffering badly with a very painful right knee when I first saw Mr Aweid. I was told that I needed a complete knee replacement joint as the joint was bone rubbing against bone. Mr Aweid carefully explained the procedure and stated that he would perform the operation under the NHS as soon as Covid restrictions allowed operations to restart. I was operated on in April 2022. After the initial post-op pain, my knee became completely pain-free. What a relief. I am extremely grateful to Mr Aweid and the staff of ward U5 for their care of me. A TRULY FIRST-CLASS SERVICE. I would recommend this team to anyone awaiting knee surgery. I was discharged from Mr Aweid care in a clinic on 23/02/2023. MANY THANKS TO THE WHOLE TEAM FOR MAKING SUCH A CHANGE TO MY QUALITY OF LIFE.

Mr Aweid has done a great job on my knee and was able to prioritise me because of the worsening condition of it. He always takes time to explain things and up to this point of time my knee feels great 3 months after the op!

From my first visit to see Mr Aweid i was made to feel at ease, nothing and i do mean nothing seemed to be too much trouble any and all of my questions were answered. Everything that was going to happen to resolve my knee pain was discussed and worked through to find my best course of action, which in my case after having long leg x rays was found to be lower leg re alignment. I was really impressed with the detail that Mr Aweid went into to explain my condition and how he would proceed to rectify it. On the day of my surgery Mr Aweid again went through the procedure to make sure i knew exactly what was going to happen and i felt confident that all was going to be fine. Since my operation i have seen Mr Aweid for three follow up consultations at which i have been kept totally informed as to how well the bone is knitting and what the next stage would be. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Aweid to anybody who is in need of orthopaedic surgery.
