Mr Onur Berber is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery. He is currently working at the Royal Free Hospital in London. He has completed several specialist fellowships in hand surgery including a Fellowship at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, a BSSH Advanced Training Programme Hand Fellowship in Oxford and a Fellowship at the Internationally renowned Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby. He has completed the BSSH Diploma in Hand Surgery and is currently a Hand Diploma Tutor. He was awarded a FESSH Traveling Fellowship where he attended the Institut de la Main in Paris. His medical training started at the University College London Medical School and he completed his Trauma and Orthopaedic training in the London Southeast programme. He gained the FRCS(Tr&Orth) in 2015, has a Masters in Trauma and Orthopaedics, and a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine. He has been heavily involved in research with several publications reflecting this and scientific presentations at national and international conferences.
