Dr Warren was perhaps the most doctor empathetic I’d seen for my issue. He listened, he game me advice and he helped me heal physically and emotionally. I didn’t feel judged, belittled, or out of place at any point. The “Great Care” award earned its name and Dr Warren earned it for sure. Thank you Dr.

Mr Warren was honest with his opinion of my situation, informative regarding the procedure required and positive regarding the outcome. I was treated with courtesy. During my hospital stay Mr Warren made me feel safe when an operation is a nervous and worrying time. His reassurance regarding recovery time was accurate and I am grateful to feel so well.

I was treated for a hernia with keyhole surgery. The whole experience from arranging the appointment to the thrip and then the follow up was professional and efficient. Mr Warren was very clear in his explanation of what the problem was and how it would be treated, the risks (such as they are) and the recovery period. He listened to the concerns I had and answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly. The operation went well and the recovery period has been quick, I was back on a bicycle after three weeks. The main discomfort was a result of distension of the abdomen which lasted for three days.

Self-paying repeat Inguinal hernia repair. I had previously had two open inguinal hernia repairs on the same side 30 years apart which took a long time to recover from and as I now had an additional neurological condition I was keen to have a TEP repair if this was possible. After undertaking a significant amount of research to find a highly qualified and experienced consultant who operated from a hospital that had onsite HDU/ICP facilities and was relatively close to where I live I selected Mr Oliver Warren. From making the appointment with his PA to the initial consultation where we discussed my health and how Oliver proposed to fix the hernia to the actual operation and post operative care I could not offer higher praise. Mr Warren was personable and actively listened throughout providing a clear explanation of what he proposed to do and responding to the questions I raised about returning to golf and other activities after the operation. Oliver understood my preference to remain in The Lister hospital overnight to ensure that my neurological condition remained stable. I would have no hesitation in commending Oliver to others based on my very positive personal experience
