In November 2023 I had elective colon resection surgery with Mr Warren due to several episodes of diverticulitis. He had been very helpful and supportive in the process of making the decision to have the surgery. The surgery could not have gone better, the recovery exactly as I had been told and throughout Mr Warren was reassuring and absolutely the safe pair of hands one needs in those times. Also I must mention the specialist nurse, Marianna, who works alongside Mr Warren at The Lister Hospital. She is completely wonderful and helped me so much. All in all, although having the surgery it is not an experience I would wish to repeat I could not have hoped for a more positive experience and I feel fully recovered and well 10 weeks post-op

I have no suggestions to make. The whole process was efficient and quick and administratively effective. I had a first consultation with Mr. Warren on 23rd October 2023. He reviewed the scans, confirmed an inguinal and a spigelian hernia, confirmed that these could be easily handled with robotic surgery (Da Vinci). The preparatory information on the hernias and the procedure was clear. The operation took place on 7th December and was a complete success. Mr. Warren visited the next morning to see if there were any problems. Post operative pain was very small and easily managed with minimum of pain killers and lasted about 5 days. The meshes subsequently withstood successfully prolonged and severe coughing over several weeks from a lung infection—so they are very robust. The sign off in early January was 100% positive. Mr. Warren’s office is also very efficient.

I had a ventral hernia repair with mesh from Mr Warren. From the start I had complete confidence in him and immediately accepted his clear recommendation for surgery. The operation was smooth and the recovery speedy and with minimal post op pain. I have been signed off after six weeks back to full health. Great backup and admin staff plus a very good anaesthetist. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Warren.

I have now had two procedures with Mr Warren and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I am a nervous, reluctant patient however I was reassured by Mr Warren's extensive experience. Any sense of embarrassment disappeared in the face of his utmost professionalism. He gave me information very clearly, leaving time for my questions. The clinical setting is impressive, as is the supporting team. Add to that the excellent administrative support, resulting in a five star service. Thank you Mr Warren, from another very grateful patient.

One would not choose to have a hernia – but if you do, Mr Oliver Warren is an absolutely first-rate choice of surgeon. From start to finish he was outstanding. He gave clear, concise and relevant advice in advance of surgery, all the better for the light touch with which it was given. The operation itself was excellent. Recovery proceeded precisely as he advised me it would, enabling me to get back to other activities as planned and hoped.
