I’ve never had such blind trust and faith in a healthcare professional’s ability as I have with Oliver.
From start to finish Oliver put me at ease, instilled belief and I’ve been left delighted with the outcome of my surgery.
He’s extremely well supported by a great team at the Lister hospital and Mariana, his Clinical Nurse Lead is a phenomenal sidekick.

I had 2 hernias previously, and was recommended to Mr Oliver Warren by my GP .
He was both attentive and reassuring about his techniques , and was confident that the procedure would be infinitely more comfortable and faster healing than those I had in the past .
He was correct on both counts , the discomfort was relatively minimal and the wounds healed very quickly.
I would unhesitatingly recommend him for any hernia operation .

Mr Warren inspired great confidence from the first consultation. He explained the procedure for hernia repair well and addressed all of my concerns. When I had a few additional questions after the consultation, he was happy to arrange for a follow up call to set my mind at rest.
The operation itself went very well, and the post-operative examination was arranged in good time and was again very reassuring.

Profile
Oliver is a Consultant Colorectal, Intestinal and Hernia Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, The London Clinic and The Lister Hospital. He has a high-volume practice in coloproctology and is a JAG accredited colonoscopist. He has an interest in hernias, including complex abdominal wall reconstruction. He performs over 50 colorectal resections per year, the vast majority using 'keyhole' surgery.
Prior to becoming a consultant surgeon he undertook colorectal surgery fellowships at St. Mark's Hospital, London and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. He was a visiting fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, USA.
Oliver is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and has written numerous scientific papers and book chapters on medical leadership, patient safety and surgical education. He is the co-author of the book 'Going into Hospital: A guide for patients, families and carers'.
