I was operated on by Mr.Priest in August 2018 to remove a tumour from my oesophagus,without doubt he saved my life,my husband and myself will be forever grateful to him.He is a very friendly,caring person as well as being an outstanding surgeon,our sincere thanks Oliver to you your team and Sarah your CNS. Mr Priest operated for 8 hours to remove. my oesophagus and a large tumour he is so caring and understanding and has saved my life with his expertise in cannot thank him enough Mr priest you are wonderful. My wife and I cannot thank you enough Harold and Jackie Taylor

I am in my 7th week following major surgery to remove a large sarcoma from my stomach plus complete stomach removal and the construction of a new stomach from my upper bowel. All this extensive surgery was expertly carried out by Oliver Priest and his team. I am 70 and obviously was concerned about such major surgery but Mr Priest with his dry humour, incredible knowledge, patience soon dispelled my fears. He saved my life and I trust him implicitly to support me through my long recovery. I look forward to good health and will enjoy our down to earth straight talking chats. Oliver Priest removed a cancer from my oesophagus,he is not only a brilliant surgeon but also a very caring and compassionate human being always having time to listen and answer any worries that I might have. I would recommend Mr Priest to anyone who is looking for a surgeon in this field. I know he was trained at the Imperial College London by Professor George Hanna a legend in the field of upper G. I surgery. It is now two years since I was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus and 18 months since Mr Priest performed the Ivor Lewis oesphagectomy to save my life, a very complicated and difficult procedure to perform , I owe my life to him and will always be eternally grateful, a wonderful man.
