After two previous operations on my knee I continued to experience knee pain on a daily basis and this was becoming worse. I therefore did some research and asked my GP if I could be referred to see Mr Oday Al-Dadah because of his expertise in knee meniscus transplants. At my first appointment we discuss the ongoing problem and whether a meniscus transplant would be beneficial. During the initial consultation I had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer them all. He didn’t rush me even though he had a full clinic of patients waiting. I went ahead with the meniscus transplant and was in a straight leg brace for 6 weeks. I gradually regained movement while doing rehabilitation every week. The first week after surgery I contacted Mr Al-Dadah’s secretary on two occasions to discuss ongoing feelings/symptoms I was experiencing. He called me back on both occasions, reassured me this was normal after the operation and it would improve with time. I have regained full movement in my knee and I’m able to do everyday activities without problem. I have full confidence in him and his surgical expertise. I would recommend Mr Al-Dadah to family and friends without hesitation. He is a friendly, knowledgeable, professional who has provided me with excellent care. Thank you Mr Al-Dadah

I was first seen by Mr Oday Al-Dadah as an NHS patient in January 2020. My first impressions were of a very understanding and knowledgable gentleman who listened and totally understood the consequences both physically and mentally of knee pain. I was scheduled for surgery for a partial knee replacement in June 2020 but, as with all non emergency surgery, this was cancelled due to Covid 19. I was eventually admitted in May 2021. On the morning of my surgery Mr Al-Dadah carefully explained my procedure and what to expect afterwards re physiotherapy and recovery times. He listened to any concerns I had and reassured me. Post surgery I made a quick recovery and was mobile and active. I am now pain free in this knee and have great flexibity and movement. I can walk for miles and kick a football with my grandsons. I have thanked Mr Al-Dadah profusely for his wonderful surgical skills and his care. He is a humble man and answers it's his pleasure. Thank you again Mr Oday Al-Dadah.

I met Mr Al-Dadah after suffering knee dislocation for many years after a sporting injury as young girl, I had no confidence in my knee at the time and had just put up with the pain and suffering- instead trying physio with surgery being the last option. He took time to really understand my symptoms and discussed the way my condition could be treated, together with all the expected outcomes. He operated on my knee with what was quite rare surgery, and I wore a full leg brace with no knee bending for 6 weeks after. This was a long process to fully gain my strength back and finally be able to gain full 120-degree bend back into my knee. The support I received about the process and advice was amazing, he was very patient, understanding and helped me a nervous patient navigate the operation and after care process. He really did a fantastic job, I had complete faith is his ability and skill. I’m now fully back to training and the day-to-day activities I used to do without any fear, knee dislocating or pain. He is a kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable consultant, who has provided exemplary care from the initial consultation to post surgery. I cannot praise him enough for the work he has done but most importantly the change in life he has provided for me again. I can’t believe I put up with it for so long- hindsight is a wonderful thing, I wished I had done it sooner. I really can’t thank him enough- he is a credit to his profession and an amazing leader in knee surgery. I would highly recommend Mr Al-Dadah as a consultant.

Mr Al-Dadah operated on my 16 year old (highly athletic) son's torn-cartilage knee and really did a fantastic job: my son was playing top-level sports within 6 months of operation and is now 19 years old and stronger than ever. Mr Al-Dadah understood very strongly the importance of an Op that would give my son an athletic future and was an immensely engaged surgeon dealing with a nervous young lad and even more nervous parent!
