Mr Arum has been extremely professional and helpful throughout my dealings with him . He explains both test results , and recommended procedures ,clearly and has great knowledge around some of the newer less invasive procedures available . Highly recommended and I have had great results .
I was referred to see a urologist on a "two-week rule" from my GP practice to exclude malignancy in the bladder due to lower abdominal discomfort at night and the presence of non-visible blood in my urine, even after a course of antibiotics. I chose to be seen by Mr Arum (as Mr Narumainayagam is known to his patients). Mr Arum was very approachable, listened to my medical issue rather than facing a computer screen, was very reassuring about my medical issue and organised all the relevant tests: blood tests, ultrasound scans (kidneys and bladder), urine flow tests, emptying of the bladder and a cystoscopy which all took place within 4 working days from my initial consultation. The tests confirmed the absence of malignancy and the presence (already known) of moderate benign enlargement of the prostate. Advice was given in modifying the type and intake timing of fluids which have improved my symptoms. My thanks to Mr Arum who I will not hesitate to consult (hopefully not) in the future should a urological issue arise. (DP)
Very attentive and supportive care pathway.
Highly intelligent, competent, professional while also being caring and providing clear information throughout.
Dr Nim was recommended to me at a time when I was in extreme pain due to kidney stones. He put my mind at rest, he explained everything in detail in a way I could understand.
Excellent care & empathy.
