I recently had an operation to repair a inguinal hernia at the Highfield Hospital, Rochdale, performed by Mr de'Liguori Carino. From the initial pre-operation consultation, to our conversation on the day of the op and the follow-up consultation, Mr de'Liguori Carino has been excellent for a nervous patient like me. He patiently explained everything and I had (and would have again) full confidence in him when I went for the op. He is very professional, yet explains things in an easy to understand way. Very much recommended!

I recently underwent surgery at The Alexandra Hospital under the care of Mr de’Liguori Carino for an Insulinoma. The care provided by Mr de’Liguori was excellent from the start, during consultations he listened to my concerns, explained all of the options clearly and honestly and took the time to build trust and had the patience to ensure I was comfortable with next steps, plan for surgery and beyond and communicated well with the other members of my multi disciplinary team who where also caring for me. After the surgery was completed he visited me every day whilst in hospital, carefully and promptly assessed my condition and was on hand and available if there where any concerns along with his other consultant colleagues who also checked in on my progress. Post operatively Mr de’Liguori ensured the Histopathology was expedited and very quickly made the appropriate referrals and arrangements with other Clinical colleagues at The Christie Hospital to ensure I was receiving a well rounded holistic approach to my post operative care and surveillance. Mr de’Liguori Carino is not just a highly skilled and technically advanced Surgeon he is also a very empathetic and authentic practitioner with a genuine straight talking but patient bedside manner.

Mr Di'liguori is the most special caring Dr. A very rare find. He cared for me even ringing me at home to tell me results of tests, did everything possible to find cause for the problem. Pushed me in to his surgeries when needed to be seen. I have seen many drs and Mr Di. is one of a kind. Thank you
