Dr Liguori has been absolutely amazing. Following a devastating diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma, we went to Dr Liguori for a second opinion to explore the viability of liver surgery and, whilst we didn’t get the results we were hoping for, Dr Liguori was the first doctor (of the many that we have seen over recent months!) to take the time to sit down with us and explain the situation and the options available to us in detail. He is extremely compassionate and thorough in his approach - he went above and beyond to consult with a broader team of oncologists and pathologists and ensured we had a clear plan of action and follow-up procedures booked in without delay. We are hopeful that, after treatment, we will be able to explore liver surgery as a potential future option and will definitely return to Dr Liguori in this instance as we know we would be in safe hands. We are so grateful to Dr Liguori for everything that he has done for us and hope to see him again in the future.

Mr Nicola De' Liguori Carino performed a successful liver resection on me at Manchester Royal Infirmary, from my first consultation through to the operation and post op recovery he put me completely at ease, explaining everything thoroughly and answering all my questions. He was the first person I saw in the recovery room and even took the trouble to call my husband to let him know the outcome of my surgery.

In June I underwent a full extended right liver resection and gall bladder removal performed by Mr Nicola De' Liguori Carino. The level of skill and care demonstrated throughout the process was exceptional. From the initial consultation, to the successful surgery and follow-up Mr Nicola De' Liguori Carino exhibited expertise, professionalism and genuine concern for my well-being. I am incredibly grateful to him and his team for removing the adenoma that was on my liver and for the suggestion of yearly monitoring to ensure that it isn't growing back. I wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone in need of surgical expertise and compassionate care.
