Perfect service from start to finish . The day of my operation I met the nurses , anaesthetist and the surgeon . All amazing and talked me through what was going to happen . Mr Stylianides the surgeon was amazing made me feel comfortable from start to finish and checked in after I had come around . I couldn’t recommend the team enough and the Spire hospital. The food was amazing to 10/10.

My Stylianides performed a right hemicolectomy after a diagnosis of bowel cancer. He inspired confidence with his calm and kind manner. He explained in great detail what was entailed and answered all my endless questions. I was left in no doubt as to what the procedure would be. The care I have received from Mr Stylianides and his team has been outstanding. Manchester Royal Infirmary is a Centre of Excellence and I am very grateful that I will remain under their care during the post operative monitoring period.

Although the thought of going through any surgical procedure is daunting, the care given by Mr Stylianides was extremely reassuring. He explained everything carefully and was very open to being asked any questions I might have had. His surgical team on the day of the procedure were excellent and as I had asked for a spinal anaesthetic the kindness of members of the team during the operation was much appreciated. I was happy to receive his report that the surgery had gone well and have confidence in the work he has done for me. His good humour throughout made everything much less intimidating than it could have been. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking him for his care.

Mr Stylianides has been by far the best consultant I have ever seen. From the initial consultation up until my post surgery appointment the care I received from him has been absolutely outstanding. For what is a really sensitive issue he made me feel extremely at ease, comfortable and confident in his ability to treat me. We discussed treatment options and he really took the time to ensure I understood what everything meant and to answer my endless questions! I was extremely apprehensive about being put to sleep but Mr Stylianides and the fantastic anaesthetist Mo made me feel at ease with their smiles, professionalism and reassurance. I have been really impressed with the care I received both by Mr Stylianides and the Spire Hospital. The responsiveness, ease to contact and friendly manner of his secretary Emma also made this a high quality experience. I would highly recommend Mr Stylianides for anyone considering a consultation or surgery. You will be in great hands. I am forever grateful, thank you
