I travelled from abroad to consult with Dr. Nick Cullen in July, 2022 and my surgery was booked for August 8, 2022. Just the thought of having medical care to finally deal with a chronic torn ankle tendon was traumatic enough. I'd been in pain for a very long time accompanied by misdiagnosis and an accompanying waste of hard earned money. I'd done considerable online research on this surgeon and it was comforting to recognize that the perception given from the YouTube interviews of him talking about his work and the medical articles written, seemed to line up with the doctor who sat and listened to my case history during that first. He was caring, empathetic and professional. Subsequently, my surgery went well and I truly feel that I was in capable hands with the medical team (Dr. Mike my "Sleep Doctor" especially) and the nurses who cared for me afterwards. My post op care was just as thorough. I've had over a year of physiotheraphy with the odd virtual check up with Dr. Nick. I flew back home on blood thinners and painkillers, limping in an aircast boot. My swollen foot was later promoted to ugly orthopedic shoes and then sneakers. I could hardly walk without rocking. When I stride now, the untrained eye can hardly discern that I underwent massive reconstructive foot surgery. It's been one long haul journey to recovery! Thank you Dr. Nick Cullen, Admins and medical team.

Every time I visit I see a different doctor and when I ask for Mr Cullen I am told he is busy. Now I can’t even get an appointment. I understood that things can go wrong but I expect that I should be able to get explanations - now I am going for another opinion. Very disappointed.

My ankle is still amazing several years later.... many years of past surgery with surgeons through a riding accident. Mr. Cullen worked his magic without having to have my ankle fused. Thank you Mr. Cullen. JK

Dr Cullen didn't take time with us and seemed disinterested. Why is it so hard to find a good doctor?

I have pain and numb areas in my left foot. An MRI scan shows chronic problems but Mr Cullen refuses to accept the diagnosis and symptoms and offered no treatment for my foot problems. Naturally I was disappointed. He also wrote there is no problem with my foot and ankle to my GP and did not send me a copy. In the letter he advises my GP there is nothing wrong with the foot and that I should be referred elsewhere. As said earlier, he did not ask me what my expectations were for resolving my foot problems and I did not feel Supported at all, consequently, I do not trust him as he was not transparent or helpful and I am in alot of discomfort, seeking a 2nd opinion.
