Where to start to express my gratitude to Mr Neil Roberts, cardiac surgeon and his team.From my very first meeting with him,feeling somewhat apprehensive at what was to come, his friendly manner to myself and my wife, put us immediately at ease.
I was told i needed a triple by pass operation. Mr Roberts explained in great detail what was going to happen. He filled us with confidence and we came away knowing we were in the best of hands.
From the very start, having all the tests done, to meeting Mr Robert's nurse Linda ,i was treated with great consideration and care.
After the operation Mr Roberts came to see my family and explained exactly how everything had gone. He also visited me several times in the ward, to check on my progress.
The doctors and nurses in the intensive care and recovery wards are a wonderful group of very special people. I would also like to say what a wonderful hospital Barts is and what fantastic work they do.
I owe my life to Mr Robert's amazing skills and myself and my family will be forever grateful to him.
