Mr Bhat is not only an excellent surgeon, but he takes time to listen to his patients. I have been treated by him for laryngeal cancer and he has been at all times at pains to answer all my queries honestly and without fudging. He understood how important my singing is to me and made the decision to operate to remove the tumour, rather than lasering it, to give me at least a chance of being able to sing following treatment. He is very thorough and takes a wider view, looking at the patient's life and what is important to them.
I would have no hesitation in recommending him and am deeply grateful to be under his care. A year on, I am still able to sing, although not at the level at which I was used, and this has made a difficult time a little less so. That's down to Mr Bhat.
