I was referred to Mr Rath after suffering for several years with severe pain in my neck. I had an initial consultation with Mr Rath who explained that my discs were badly worn and I needed a spinal fusion. He carried out a disc fusion on C4/5 and C5/6. At the time he explained everything in a very easy way to understand but also a professional way. I felt very confident and comfortable about the operation. The operation took place on the 30th January and it has been a long road to recovery. At last after 9 months I feel that things have turned a corner and my condition has improved dramatically. Mr Rath did explain to me that it could take up to a year and this has proven to be so. He even took the time to call me a few weeks after the operation to see how my recovery was progressing. I would just like to say thank you to Mr Rath and his team for improving my quality of life. A very nice man who is very good at his job.
