#sayThankYou

I was referred to Mr Rath by Dr David Childs, pain relief specialist at the Countess of Chester Hospital, for my back pain in November 2019. Mr Rath came to The Countess to see me. He is very caring and a good listener. He explained the findings of my scans and X-rays indicating where the problem was, and, for the first time, I learnt that I had Arthritis in a number of areas in the spine. As I was due to have a hip replacement later in the month (which was cancelled at the last minute).I eventually had the operation in December. It was agreed that I would see Mr Rath in May 2020 after recovering from surgery. The appointment was cancelled due to Covid19. Mr Rath rang me last week for a telephone consultation, which was very beneficial for me. I am managing my back pain through exercises and also Physio when out of lockdown. Although the pain never goes completely away, I have agreed that Mr Rath can discharge me knowing that if I need to see him I can ask my Doctor to send a letter. Many thanks for contacting me, Mr Rath. Elizabeth (Liz)
