It is almost 12 months since my replacement knee. My consultant, Mr Garneti, from day one offered support, guidance and confidence. I have now been discharged and even then Mr Garneti emphasised , that although discharged I was still under his care and could contact him if any problem should occur. I would like to thank him for his care and for giving both myself and my husband ‘our lives back.’ Also thanks to Orthopaedic Ward Rotherham DGH for their after care.

I am 73 years of age. Over the years I have had both knees replaced, the first one some 22 years ago. I have been lucky , I was told the new knee would last 15 years. Following failure of this knee I was referred to Mr Garneti at Rotherham Hospital. 0ver time there became the possibility of imminent collapse of the knee. Mr Garneti was concerned and recommended surgery, sooner rather than later. I have arrived home today, following surgery. I have nothing but praise for Mr Garneti and his team. Following a difficult procedure iam now on the path to recovery and look forward to a new phase in my life. I must add that my stay in Rotherham Hospital was made comfortable by the wonderfull staff. What would we do without the NHS and particularly their professionals. Thankyou once again Mr Garneti for relieving my anguish and pain and allowing me to look forward to walking my dogs once again Yvonne B

I had a total knee replacement in Jan 2020 at the Claremont Hospital. The procedure was carried out by Mr Garneti. Before the op i could not walk more than 200 mtrs withput being in pain and walked with a constant limp! After the op and doi g the physical knee exercises i can now walk for miles, no limp at all! A total success. Mr Garneti is a 1st class consultant orthopaedic surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone who needs knee replacement surgery.

please amend my date of my operationi made a mistake in the thanyou box should have said 21st february and not 21st april as put in my previous letter.It was a thankyou to mr. Garnetti who gave me a new hip replacement on the feb.date.. Due to the coronavirus i dont think.operations would have been done in middle of April. So grateful .to Mr.Garnetti again i can walkthanks to his expertise as a superb surgeon so thorough listens to you and explains everything you can understand and trust him implicity . family and friends i will definately recommend Mr Garnetti Thankyou so much.

Thankyou mr.Garnetti i am recovering now i had my total hip operation 21 t april 2020 at Claremont. Thankyou so much to get my indepence back now i sm able to walk where as i never thought i would iven the intolerable pain i was in before the operation arthritis. Yes i certainly will recommend Mr.Garnetti . So so grateful to him and the care team that looked after me superbly Thankyou all of you NHS is wondeful i can now walk again thanks to you Mr.Garnetti.
