I was referred to fracture clinic following an accident at home lifting a big tv, which caused bicep tendon rupture. This is an unusual injury usually experienced by people who lift weights. At 54 and as a past sufferer of tendonitis from the gym I didn’t expect this to happen years on however there was clearly a remaining weakness here. At the time of the accident I was unsure if it could be repaired.
Mr Prasad took this in his stride and performed a painless operative procedure followed by recovery, rehabilitation and exercise, the repair is now complete and the arm and strength are both fully functional. I was reviewed at clinic numerous times post operation and finally discharged from clinic six months post-op. I would like to thank Mr Prasad for his attention competence and confidence throughout.
