This is the second rotator cuff repair Mr Prasad has done for me the first with the NHS and the second at the Alexander Hospital Cheadle which I paid for privately due to the long waiting NHS list. Mr Prasad was my first choice surgeon as he is very experienced in shoulder surgery and explained everything that would be involved in perfect layman's term. I would like to thank Mr Prasad, Debbie and all the team at the Alexander.

Mr Prasad operated on my right shoulder in August 2023. Prior to this I’d suffered severe arthritic pain for years. I had limited shoulder and arm movement and disturbed sleep. When I saw him in clinic prior to surgery being arranged he reassured me, detailed the process and recovery and I felt confident. He has exactly the kind of mannerism you’d want and expect in a doctor. He’s patient, calm and he listens. Weeks after surgery physio were and surprised at my recovery as am I. I have a full range of movement, no pain and I can sleep. This is life changing for me as I have arthritis in several joints so one less is a huge reduction in pain. Mr Prasad is highly professional, very approachable and knowledgeable. He is a wonderful doctor and a lovely person.
